Identifying economic development as a key task, in recent years, the Party Committee of Tan Tai Ward (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City) has focused on leading and directing the mobilization of people's solidarity to effectively implement solutions, bringing the locality to increasingly develop and improve people's lives.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Thang, Secretary of the Tan Tai Ward Party Committee, said: The entire ward currently has about 3,000 households and more than 11,000 people. In recent years, thanks to the city's strategy of developing and expanding urban space, Tan Tai has been able to promote its potential and advantages to boost economic development, in which trade and services are the key sectors, creating momentum for general development, solving employment, improving income and people's lives.

The urban space is expanded, the urban technical infrastructure is increasingly upgraded, the traffic network is developed, helping Tan Tai form many bustling and dynamic residential areas, streets, shopping areas, and services; typically the routes: Ngo Gia Tu, 16/4, Hai Thuong Lan Ong... attracting hundreds of businesses and households to invest in the fields of food and beverage, accommodation services, entertainment, post - telecommunications, credit... In particular, Phan Rang agricultural market maintains effective operations, creating favorable conditions for hundreds of small traders to trade and do business.

In order to promote trade and service development, local authorities also pay special attention to administrative reform, create favorable conditions, quickly resolve procedures for granting business licenses, loans... to help businesses and business households improve production capacity, expand scale of operations, service quality to meet production and consumption needs, and at the same time encourage and attract many economic sectors to invest in this field.

Along with trade and services, industry - construction, especially small-scale industry focusing on garment production, iron, aluminum, stainless steel, food processing, etc., will maintain development. In 2023, the total production value of economic sectors will reach over 875 billion VND, with a growth rate of 12.5%; of which, the proportion of trade and services accounts for 61.5%; industry, small-scale industry - construction accounts for 36.1%. In the first 6 months of 2024, the total production value of economic sectors will reach over 486 billion VND, reaching 54% of the plan, shifting in the right direction.

Regarding the development orientation of the locality in the coming time, comrade Nguyen Duc Thang said: In economic development, the locality continues to identify trade and services as key sectors. In the process of urbanization, the area of agricultural land is gradually narrowing. To help people improve their lives, the locality will have solutions to help people apply science and technology, introduce production models with high economic value, increase crop productivity; at the same time, create conditions for people to change jobs, solve employment problems, and increase income. In addition, the locality focuses on implementing social security policies well, solving environmental sanitation issues, urban order, construction order... creating a strong driving force to promote socio-economic development. In 2024, the locality will accelerate to achieve the development goals set for the 2020-2025 term; strive for the total production value of economic sectors to reach over 894 billion VND; in which trade and services account for 67.7%; industry and construction account for 29.5%.

In the future, Tan Tai ward will be merged with My Huong and Kinh Dinh wards, promising to become a vibrant, civilized and modern urban center. Currently, many large-scale projects are planned by the province and have investment calling policies such as: Southeast 1 Urban Area Project, Southeast 2 Urban Area, Tan Tai Commercial Center... In particular, the downstream dam of Dinh River has been completed and put into operation, not only preventing salinity, draining floods, solving the problem of irrigation water and daily life for people but also serving as a basis for arranging and forming residential areas, developing urban areas on both sides of Dinh River, creating environmental landscapes, promoting local tourism development. In the future, when the sustainable environmental project of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City is completed, it will help drain water, improve the environment, and build the city. Phan Rang - Thap Cham in general and Tan Tai ward in particular are increasingly green - clean - beautiful, civilized, creating a strong driving force to promote socio-economic development, improving the lives of local people.
