Speaking at the festival, Director of the Dan Phuong District Culture - Information and Sports Center Bui Thi Quyen said that this is one of the extracurricular activities to honor reading to increase passion for books and the value of reading.

According to Ms. Bui Thi Quyen, the applications of science and artificial intelligence have changed a lot, helping us a lot in work, production and study. However, for science and artificial intelligence to serve life, each of us must constantly improve our professional knowledge and one of those things is reading and researching books.

At the festival, students were educated about “Books - applications in life”. Books are the universal “key” that opens the door to the castle of human intelligence and soul; they are the teachers who light up within us the boundless source of knowledge. No matter how much science develops, no matter what era, books are always companions in life, helping us to be more successful and mature.

Through the Book Culture Festival, Dan Phuong district hopes to spread the passion for reading to students and the younger generation, share reading experiences and develop a reading culture, form reading habits, and at the same time affirm the role and good values ​​of reading culture in improving the knowledge of Vietnamese people. Especially developing thinking, creativity, arousing the will, aspiration, and determination to develop a prosperous and happy Vietnam, firmly entering the era of national development.

The reading culture festival with the theme "Books - applications in life" and response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day will be the beginning of a passion for reading, motivating the young generation of Dan Phuong district to seek knowledge from the pages of books left by their ancestors, to seek the quintessence of humanity in the world through the pages of books.

Through this event, the leaders of Dan Phuong district hope that students and young generations in the area will promote their passion for reading, be proactive in learning, share good reading experiences, build scientific learning methods, spread reading culture in society and the community, contribute to improving people's knowledge, developing thinking, creativity, nurturing personality and soul worthy of citizens of the thousand-year-old capital Hanoi.
