People's Artist Bui Cong Duy, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, said that for the first time, the World Youth Orchestra will come to Hanoi to perform with members of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Vietnam National Academy of Music in the project "Sound of Brotherhood".
According to the schedule, conductor Damiano Guiranna and 45 members of the World Youth Orchestra and 25 members of the Vietnam National Academy of Music will practice and perform together from March 30 to April 12.

Highlights include the Thang Long Night concert taking place on the evening of April 6 at the Grand Concert Hall, Vietnam National Academy of Music, and the Puccini Opera Gala taking place on April 10 at the Hanoi Opera House.
The two programs promise to bring to the capital's audience many classic instrumental works and outstanding performances by world-renowned composers such as P. Tchaikovsky, G. Rossini, G. Puccini and Vietnamese composers: Dang Huu Phuc, Tran Manh Hung.
The diverse combination of young international artists from 20 countries will spread youthful, positive, and creative energy to the large audience of classical music lovers in Hanoi.

Currently, selected students of the Vietnam National Academy of Music and international students and young artists of the World Youth Orchestra are actively practicing to prepare for the above event.
The World Youth Orchestra, founded in 2001 by Italian conductor Damiano Giuranna, has welcomed more than 2,000 talented members from all continents. The orchestra has performed numerous concerts in Italy, the Middle East, Europe, the United States and has organized numerous workshops and musical exchanges in schools where regional projects are carried out, even in places practically far from the world of art.
