This statement also affects the local hospitality, especially the upcoming local durian festival.

TikToker named O Huyen durian (residing in Dak Lak province) is a representative of a gardener in Dak Lak participating in the livestream session selling the above item.
After the livestream, TikToker O Huyen durian received a lot of criticism for some statements that were considered "inappropriate" by the online community. Notably, many social media users posted statuses and comments saying that they had canceled their durian orders.
According to Mr. Con, the above statements have affected the reputation of local agricultural products.
According to the 2023 report of the Dak Lak Provincial Statistics Office, the total durian area is 32,785 hectares, accounting for 50.27% of the fruit tree area. This figure increased by 10,326.4 hectares compared to 2022, with an estimated output of 281,350 tons. Dak Lak province currently has the second largest durian output in the country, after Tien Giang.
In the 2024 crop season, Dak Lak durian is forecast to continue to grow as output increases. China will continue to be the main and largest consumer market of the locality in 2024 as well as many years to come.
