In order to meet the learning needs of students, contribute to improving the quality of education in general schools; and implement student streaming after graduating from junior high school, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province has just issued Plan No. 30/KH-UBND on enrollment in grade 10 of high school for the 2025-2026 school year.
Accordingly, admission to grade 10 of public high schools is conducted by entrance examination. Private high schools, Boarding Ethnic High Schools, Cao Nguyen Practice High Schools, and Sports Training and Competition Centers develop their own admission plans based on the Provincial People's Committee's Admission Plan and submit them to the Department of Education and Training for approval.
The exam is scheduled to take place on June 5 and June 6, 2025. The exam schedule may change 60 days before the exam to suit the actual situation in the locality.
Candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year.
Regarding the enrollment area, Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted recruits students residing or graduating from junior high school in the whole province. N'Trang Long Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities (Buon Ma Thuot City) recruits students residing in the districts of Buon Don, Cu Kuin, Krong Ana, Krong Bong, Krong Pac, Lak, Ea Sup, and Buon Ma Thuot City.
Dam San Ethnic Boarding High School (Buon Ho town) recruits students residing in the districts of Cu M'gar, Ea H'leo, Krong Buk, Krong Nang, M'Drak, Ea Kar, and Buon Ho town.
Public high schools in Krong Pac, Krong Nang, Krong Ana, Cu M'gar, Ea H'leo, Ea Kar districts, Buon Ho town, Buon Ma Thuot city: enroll students residing or graduating from junior high school in the district or according to the district People's Committee's zoning.
Public high schools in Krong Bong, Lak, M'Drak, Buon Don, Cu Kuin, Ea Sup, Krong Buk districts: are only allowed to recruit students residing or graduating from junior high school in the area according to the district People's Committee's zoning. Students wishing to study at schools in the border area between 2 districts must have the approval of the People's Committees of the 2 districts.
The plan also stipulates that students are admitted directly to public high schools according to the zoning system at the district level, including: students from ethnic boarding schools in districts, towns, and cities who have graduated from junior high school; students from very small ethnic minorities; students with disabilities; junior high school students who have won national awards organized by the Ministry of Education and Training or in coordination with ministries and ministerial-level agencies organized nationwide...
