According to the evaluation of the Organizing Committee, after 1 year of implementation, the Organizing Committee received 169 press works from 27 agencies and units to participate in the award (an increase of 42 works compared to the 2022 award), including: 44 print works; 33 electronic press works; 33 radio works; 59 television works.
Most of the works adhered to the theme, explored and vividly reflected the Party building work of the province; were elaborately invested, beautifully presented, and demonstrated the spirit and serious attitude of the contestants. Many works had a tight structure, high generalization, ensuring persuasiveness, influence, and high social effectiveness.

Some works have deeply and comprehensively reflected on the following contents: the implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the Party Committees of localities; cadre work, party member development; leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities in all fields; propaganda and mobilization of people of all ethnic groups in the province to promote the spirit of great national unity, build Dak Lak province rich, civilized, and with its own identity; protect the ideological foundation of the Party; examples of good people, good deeds...
However, there are still some works that do not closely follow the theme of Party building work in the province, the content is not new, is sketchy, lacks depth, uses too many old documents, reports, and interviews, and does not reflect the author's opinions; there is no analysis, evaluation, or proposed solutions for Party building work.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 A prize to the work "For cadres to be the root of work" by the group of authors Manh Quyen - Dinh Nga (Dak Lak Newspaper), 3 B prizes, 6 C prizes, 10 Encouragement prizes to the authors and groups of authors whose works won the prize; selected 22 high-quality works to submit to the final round of the 8th National Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in 2023.
