Identify and combat signs of degradation
Identifying and determining solutions to combat signs of degradation is one of the tasks that the Standing Committee of Dak Glong District Party Committee is interested in leading and directing, creating positive changes in the work of Party building and rectification, strengthening the trust of cadres, party members and people in the Party and local government.
Party committees at all levels have seriously overcome weaknesses and focused on building a contingent of cadres and party members, especially leaders and managers at all levels, with strong political will, ethics, responsibility and capacity, for the common development of the district.
The district focuses on directing, thoroughly disseminating and popularizing the Party's directives, resolutions, regulations and rules on the fight against manifestations of bureaucracy, individualism, "group interests", and "saying does not match doing".
In addition to promoting the spirit of self-criticism and criticism, Party committees and Party organizations are also determined to fight against 27 manifestations of degradation in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" within the Party according to the spirit of Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee. Key cadres, heads of Party committees and authorities at all levels have done a good job of setting examples.
The work of self-criticism and criticism is carried out seriously; promoting the spirit of constructive comments of Party organizations and each cadre and party member to promptly overcome and correct.
Suggestions for review of collectives and individuals in places with complicated problems, public concerns, signs of degradation, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" are carried out closely to the actual situation of each locality, agency and unit.
Every year, Party committees at all levels direct and seriously implement the development of personal plans, commitments to self-cultivation, training and striving for cadres and Party members. This is also considered a specific task to continue promoting the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution No. 04 of the XII and XIII terms and Project No. 05 of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee.
The work of evaluating cadres, party members and party organizations has become more and more substantive, ensuring strictness and objectivity. From 2019 to now, the whole district has had 149 party members assessed as not fulfilling their tasks, due to degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, manifestations of "self-evolution", "self-transformation" and have been handled according to regulations.
Improve the quality of party cell activities
The Standing Committee of Dak Glong District Party Committee determined that improving the quality of Party cell activities will contribute to promoting the role and responsibility of Party organizations and Party members in performing their duties and in ethics and lifestyle. From there, the District Party Committee focused on leading and directing innovation and improving the quality of Party cell activities, first of all, diversifying the forms and contents of activities.
In addition to regular activities, all Party cells identify specialized activities as a regular task, creating a new and in-depth atmosphere, stimulating creativity, promoting democracy in discussion, in order to propose solutions to effectively carry out political tasks.
From 2018 to present, the Party's TCCS have organized 574 thematic meetings with many practical contents, closely linked to the reality in agencies, units and localities. Party committees at all levels have inspected 12 Party TCCS, 13 Party cells under the grassroots Party Committees; supervised 8 Party TCCS, 10 Party cells under the grassroots Party Committees on Party cell activities.
Through inspection and supervision, it is shown that the organization of regular and thematic Party cell activities has become routine, the content of activities has been gradually innovated, and the quality of Party cell secretaries' management of activities has been gradually improved.
The thematic meetings all select a number of appropriate issues, close to the situation of the agency or unit, to educate, raise political awareness, foster knowledge, focus collective intelligence, propose leadership measures to promptly overcome limitations and weaknesses, improve the leadership capacity, fighting strength of the Party organization and the quality of Party members.
Focus on inspection and supervision
The inspection and supervision work of Party committees, Party organizations and inspection committees at all levels has had positive changes, thereby tightening discipline and order, contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks and building a strong Party and political system.
The district continuously collects public information in areas prone to shortcomings and violations such as land management, forest protection management, population management, construction investment, finance, personnel work, etc. Thereby, the Party Committees at all levels promptly rectify, remind, and prevent shortcomings and violations against Party organizations, cadres, and Party members.
From 2018 to 2022, the entire Dak Glong district had 210 party members who degraded or showed signs of "self-evolution" or "self-transformation" (accounting for 10.6% of the total number of party members) and were disciplined. Of these, 9 party members degraded in morality and lifestyle; 187 party members degraded in political ideology; 14 party members showed signs of "self-evolution" or "self-transformation". Notably, the district had 7 serious violations that were criminally prosecuted.
From 2018 to present, the entire District Party Committee has inspected 236 Party organizations and 1,904 Party members; disciplined 2 Party organizations and 151 Party members; supervised 84 Party organizations and 217 Party members; and inspected 3 Party organizations and 59 Party members for signs of violations.
The main violations are population policy - family planning; lack of responsibility in managing and protecting forests, land, population; resources, minerals; the principle of democratic centralism; things that party members are not allowed to do; ethics, lifestyle; solidarity, internal affairs; performing assigned duties and responsibilities; lack of responsibility and lax leadership; lack of responsibility in advising on granting land use right certificates...
