Attending the donation ceremony were all officials and employees of the Embassy, ​​representative agencies and agencies affiliated to the Embassy, ​​representatives of the Vietnamese Association in the Russian Federation, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union, and the Vietnamese Student Association in Russia.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi emphasized the tradition of “mutual love” and “helping each other”. The Ambassador called on all officials, employees and the Vietnamese community working and living in the Russian Federation, together with people in the country, to join hands and provide spiritual and material support to help people in provinces affected by storms and floods overcome difficulties.

The Ambassador also called on all staff of the Embassy, ​​representative offices, and agencies adjacent to the Embassy to fulfill their tasks well, strengthen the Vietnam-Russian Federation relationship, contribute to foreign affairs, and develop the country. For the community, the Ambassador called for strengthening solidarity, doing business and doing business well, developing enterprises, developing themselves, and increasing contributions to the country.

Mr. Do Xuan Hoang, Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese in the Russian Federation, also said that although Vietnamese people live and work in the Russian Federation, their hearts are always turned towards their homeland, sharing the difficulties and losses of people affected by the recent Typhoon Yagi. This is the spirit and traditional consciousness of those who are far away from home, always turning towards their homeland in difficult times and is demonstrated through concrete actions.

The Association of Vietnamese in the Russian Federation also announced the Association's office contact to help people, businesses, and philanthropists continue to contribute in response to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
