During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dien Bien Dong district focused on innovating the content and methods of operation, effectively implementing 5 action programs and targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 6th Congress, term 2019 - 2024.
During the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dien Bien Dong district coordinated to organize 75 conferences to disseminate and educate the law to 3,850 people; organized 2,970 propaganda sessions on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, socio-economic development plans, and ensure local defense and security; reflected 157 recommendations and proposals from the people to Party committees and authorities at all levels. Every year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district successfully builds pilot models and replicates models of self-managed residential areas, cultural residential areas, environmental protection, food safety, traffic safety, crime prevention, etc., actively contributing to the construction of new rural areas in the area. Up to now, the whole district has had 5 communes recognized as basically meeting new rural standards.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district responded to and effectively implemented the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind" launched by the Prime Minister; the peak month "For the poor", thereby arousing benevolent hearts, many noble gestures of joining hands to help the poor. During the term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Dong district mobilized 1.01 billion VND to support the poor in the area. The work of supervision, social criticism, participation in Party building, State building was given attention; the people's foreign affairs activities of the Front and its member organizations were increasingly expanded...
In particular, implementing the Ministry of Public Security's House Building Program and the Project to mobilize support for building Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province towards the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dien Bien Dong district received and allocated funding to support house building for 1,693 poor households.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress democratically elected 54 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Dong district, term VII (leaving 1 vacancy, to be completed after the Congress). At the first meeting of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, term VII, it elected 2 people to hold positions in the Standing Committee. Comrade Lo Dai Nghia, Deputy Head of the District Party Committee's Organization Board, holds the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Dong district, term VII, 2024-2029. The Congress also elected 15 official delegates to attend the 13th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029.
The Congress highly agreed on 15 main tasks and 5 action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Dong district for the 2024-2029 term.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province awarded Certificates of Merit to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Dong district; the People's Committee of Dien Bien Dong district awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the front for the term 2019 - 2024.
