On June 16 and 17, the Tho Xuan District Youth Union solemnly held the 6th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. Comrade Le Van Chau, Provincial Party Committee member, Central Committee member of the Youth Union, Provincial Youth Union Secretary, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union attended and delivered a speech at the congress.
Overview of the congress.
In the 2019-2024 term, the work of the Association and the youth movement in Tho Xuan district has made comprehensive progress, with 10/10 targets achieved and exceeded the set plan. Notably, the movement "I love my Fatherland" was deployed synchronously and widely, bringing many practical results, attracting a large number of members and young people to participate, thereby strongly promoting the spirit of shock, volunteerism and creativity of young people for community life.
Programs to support young people in establishing their careers and careers have been strongly implemented, creating more jobs for rural workers and contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
The work of building and consolidating the Youth Union continues to be focused on; the youth solidarity front is expanded; the position and role of the Union are increasingly affirmed.
Leaders of Tho Xuan district presented flower baskets from the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee to congratulate the congress.
With the achievements and results achieved during the term, every year the Vietnam Youth Union of Tho Xuan district is awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union Committee awards the Emulation Flag to the unit with outstanding achievements in the work of the Union and the youth movement and is recognized and highly appreciated by the Party Committee and authorities from the district to the grassroots level.
With the slogan of action "Aspiration - Pioneer - Solidarity - Creativity - Development", the Congress discussed and agreed to set out the goals and directions for the 2024-2029 term. In particular, the goal is to build a generation of Tho Xuan youth with revolutionary ideals and strong political will; develop healthily, comprehensively, and harmoniously in terms of intelligence, physical strength, spirit, and responsibility to meet the requirements of the new period. Continue to build and consolidate a strong Association organization, expand the solidarity front, widely gather all classes of youth; care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of youth, encourage youth to build great ambitions, cultivate virtue, train talents, establish themselves and start a career; promote the talents and youthfulness of youth in international integration, preserve national cultural identity, develop the economy, society and protect the Fatherland, contributing to building Tho Xuan homeland increasingly rich and strong.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Le Van Chau, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union and comrade Le Dinh Hai, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Tho Xuan District People's Council acknowledged, commended and congratulated the outstanding achievements that the youth of Tho Xuan district achieved in the work of the Union and the youth movement in the 2019-2024 term.
The comrades suggested that the District Youth Union continue to innovate, diversify its methods of operation and effectively carry out the work of educating the youth on patriotism, morality and lifestyle, especially the timely and effective implementation of the Directives and Conclusions of the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, and the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels over youth work in the new situation, in conjunction with the implementation of Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05 on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
Continue to promote and develop the youth's shock, volunteer and creative movements, make efforts and closely link the activities of the Association with practical requirements in the new period, especially the task of socio-economic development, actively participate in the movements of "All people protecting national security", building advanced new rural areas, civilized urban areas, building a cultural lifestyle, joining hands to protect the environment, participating in maintaining security, order and social safety, contributing many ideas to Party building and government building.
With the spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Congress consulted and elected 41 brothers and sisters to the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Tho Xuan district, term VI, 2024-2029.
The Congress also consulted to elect the Delegation to attend the 7th Provincial Youth Union Congress, term 2024-2029, which will be held in the near future.
