National Assembly Delegate Vu Hong Thanh attended the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" at Dong Mai Industrial Park

On the afternoon of January 13, the Quang Yen Town Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" and "Tet Union Market" in 2025 for workers. Comrade Vu Hong Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Economic Committee, National Assembly delegate of Quang Ninh province attended and spoke at the program. Also attending were comrades: Tran Thi Kim Nhung, Standing member of the National Assembly Law Committee, National Assembly delegate of Quang Ninh province; Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province; Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Delegates and many workers, laborers, and union members of Dong Mai Industrial Park and Quang Yen Town attended the program.

Speaking to workers and union members of Quang Yen town, comrade Vu Hong Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Economic Committee, National Assembly delegate of Quang Ninh province, quickly informed about some outstanding results of the country and Quang Ninh province in 2024; at the same time, affirmed that in those common achievements, there are important contributions of the workers and laborers of Quang Ninh province as well as Quang Yen town.

Comrade Vu Hong Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee, National Assembly delegate of Quang Ninh province spoke at the program.

Comrade Vu Hong Thanh also said that at the recent 8th Session, the National Assembly passed the Trade Union Law (amended), affirming the position and role of trade union members and workers; mechanisms and policies for trade union organizations and trade union members also received more attention. The Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance passed by the National Assembly at the 8th Session also stipulated the rights and obligations of trade union members in medical examination and treatment. These clearly demonstrate the attention and care of all levels and sectors for workers and trade union members.

The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee hopes that the Provincial Federation of Labor, trade unions at all levels and enterprises will pay more attention to the ideology, life and health conditions of workers and laborers; review and promptly resolve difficulties and problems of workers; and pay attention to social housing and housing for workers.

Emphasizing that one of the key tasks of 2025 is to develop the quality of the workforce, comrade Vu Hong Thanh requested units and enterprises to continue implementing solutions to improve productivity and quality in the production and business process, thereby increasingly having conditions to better care for the material and spiritual life of workers. He requested trade unions at all levels to further strengthen the implementation of the Party's policies and resolutions for the workforce, especially the implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Comrade Tran Thi Kim Nhung, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province, presented Tet gifts to workers.

The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee expressed his hope that all workers will always comply with labor discipline, strive to improve their professional qualifications, work productively and with quality, and make positive contributions to the development of enterprises and the development of Quang Ninh province.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province, presented Tet gifts to employees of enterprises in Dong Mai Industrial Park.

At the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party", comrade Vu Hong Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee, National Assembly delegate of Quang Ninh province presented Tet gifts to the Dong Mai Industrial Park Management Board.

Comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented Tet gifts to workers.

Comrade Vu Hong Thanh and the delegates presented 200 gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the province and the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, the town and the Quang Yen Town Labor Federation. Each gift was worth 500,000 VND or more, along with a gift bag of in-kind gifts, to workers, laborers, and union members in difficult circumstances in Quang Yen Town.

Delegates visited booths in the "Union Tet Market" serving the needs of workers in Dong Mai Industrial Park.

From the socialized resources of agencies, units and enterprises supporting the program, the Quang Yen Town Labor Federation also organized a Lucky Draw program, giving away many essential gifts to union members, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances with a total gift value of nearly 72 million VND.
