Provincial National Assembly delegates discussed the content of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly with voters on the sidelines of the conference.
Attending the meeting with voters were leaders of Phu Ninh district; voters of Phong Chau town and the communes of Phu Loc, Phu Nham and Phu Ninh commune.
At the meeting, delegate Cam Ha Chung informed voters about some of the main contents expected to be implemented at the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, the session will open on May 20 and is expected to close on June 27, divided into 2 phases (phase 1 from May 20 to June 8, phase 2 from June 17 to 28). At the session, the National Assembly will consider and approve 10 draft laws, 3 draft resolutions, give opinions on 11 draft laws and consider and decide on other important issues.
Voters of Phu Ninh district acknowledged and highly appreciated the National Assembly for its many innovations in organizing meetings, researching and promulgating many laws in accordance with the reality and aspirations of the people; at the same time, there were opinions and recommendations, including: Proposing the Government and ministries and branches to pay attention to investing in economic development, traffic infrastructure and social security, attracting businesses to invest in the area to create more jobs, increase income for people in the province in general, Phu Ninh district in particular. Along with that, increase investment in building infrastructure, landscapes of national historical sites in the province, meeting the tourism needs, especially spiritual tourism of the people; proposing to build a provincial nursing home to serve lonely elderly people.
Voter representative of Phu Nham commune expressed his opinion on supporting the construction of model new rural residential areas in the midland and mountainous areas.
Voters also proposed upgrading National Highway 2 through Phong Chau town, Phu Loc and Phu Ninh communes because this road is currently degraded and cannot meet the traffic density; proposed opening a new National Highway 2, avoiding the center of Phong Chau town. Voters also requested to quickly carry out compensation and site clearance for traffic projects to ensure construction progress and avoid affecting people's lives.
In addition, voters also want to change some criteria in the set of criteria for building a new model rural area, suitable for the midland and mountainous rural areas; have a reward system for areas that have met the standards of civilized urban residential areas and model new rural areas.
After listening to voters’ opinions, delegates and local authorities directly answered a number of issues within their jurisdiction. The remaining contents were received and synthesized by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and sent to relevant ministries and agencies for consideration and resolution.
