(GLO)- During 2 days (June 8 and 9), delegates of the Provincial People's Council, Mang Yang and Kbang District People's Councils had a meeting with voters before the 13th session of the Provincial People's Council (term XII).
On June 9, the delegation of Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, including Mr. Tran Dinh Hiep - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of Mang Yang District People's Council; Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Hanh - District Party Committee member, Head of the District Finance and Planning Department, had a meeting with voters of Dak Jo Ta and Ayun communes before the 13th session of the Provincial People's Council (term XII) and the 10th session of the District People's Council, term V.
Also attending were Mr. Le Trong - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of Mang Yang District People's Committee, leaders of district departments, branches and a large number of voters from Dak Jo Ta and Ayun communes.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial People's Council Delegation informed the voters and people of the two communes about the results of the 10th, 11th, and 12th sessions (special sessions) of the 12th Provincial People's Council; expected content, program, and time of the 13th session of the 12th Provincial People's Council and responded to voters' opinions and recommendations at the previous session.
With a democratic and straightforward spirit, voters of Dak Jo Ta and Ayun communes made recommendations to the provincial People's Council delegates on a number of issues such as: Forest land was encroached upon after being recovered and put into the pine tree planting plan but instead planted with acacia trees; many households in Bong Pim village lacked land for production; intra-field traffic was very difficult, attention should be paid to investing in building residential roads; there was still a situation of young people riding motorbikes with their exhausts revving, causing insecurity and disorder in the locality.
Along with that, voters suggested that all levels need to pay attention to planning and expanding residential areas; planning entertainment areas and parks; lack of domestic water; suggested that all levels pay attention to repairing suspension bridges and building bridges across Dak Jo Ta stream; the granting of land use right certificates still has many shortcomings; installing a power system from Le Bong intersection to Doan Ket village...

After listening to voters' opinions and recommendations, representatives of relevant departments and branches of the district explained issues within their authority.
On behalf of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Tran Dinh Hiep acknowledged the enthusiastic opinions of the voters of the two communes. At the same time, he hoped that voters would continue to uphold their sense of responsibility and contribute to the successful implementation of political tasks with the Party Committees and authorities, building the locality to develop more and more.
Proposals and recommendations from voters under the authority of the district will be directed to departments, branches and localities to promptly resolve; for opinions beyond the authority, the Delegation will receive, synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Council and functional branches of the province for consideration and resolution.

* Previously, on June 8, delegates of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council and Kbang District People's Council met with voters of two communes: Kong Bla and To Tung (Kbang District, Gia Lai) before the 13th session of the 12th Provincial People's Council and the 8th District People's Council (term 2021-2026).
Attending on the side of the Provincial People's Council delegates were: Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuyen - Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Kbang District People's Council; Ms. Ha Thi Giang Thao - Provincial Party Committee member, Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union Secretary; Ms. Dinh Ly An - Deputy Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council. On the side of the District People's Council delegates, there were members of the delegations of the 8th District People's Council elected in the units of Kong Bla and To Tung communes.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council delegates informed voters about the results of the 10th, 11th, and 12th sessions (special sessions); expected content, agenda, and time of the 13th session of the 12th Provincial People's Council; and responded to voters' opinions and recommendations at previous meetings. The District People's Council delegates also informed voters about the expected content, agenda, and time of the 13th session of the 8th District People's Council.
At the meeting places, voters made many recommendations related to the issue of investment in rural transport infrastructure, electricity, and domestic water such as: upgrading and expanding the road from Kong Bo La commune to An Khe Sugar Factory; the construction of traffic roads should be clearly marked for people to know; investing in providing clean water for the people; arranging offices for some commune officials who lack workplaces. In addition, many opinions said that, in addition to sugarcane as the main crop, people should be oriented to switch to other crops with economic value; finding stable output for agricultural products; the source of land for leveling the ground is still difficult; policy loans for business households should be increased...
Most of the opinions were answered and clarified for voters by specialized agencies in the district and leaders of the People's Committees of communes and districts. For some opinions beyond the authority of the district, the Provincial People's Council delegates took note, summarized and reported to the Provincial People's Council and requested the competent authority to answer voters.
