The festival is an opportunity for the elderly in Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh) to express their passion for singing, increase solidarity, and contribute to promoting the development of cultural and artistic movements at the grassroots level.
On August 26, Nghi Xuan District Elderly Association coordinated with the District Culture - Communication Center to organize the first elderly singing festival in 2023.
Participating in the festival are 14 teams with 150 actors from the elderly association of communes and towns in the district.
The festival’s performances will focus on the following themes: Praising the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland and country; promoting the fine traditions of the elderly and their contributions to building and defending the Fatherland; building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

At the end of the competition, the jury awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes and 5 third prizes to the teams with outstanding performances.
