(Dan Tri) - Da Nang is experiencing rain due to the impact of storm Tra Mi, and authorities have announced a ban on going to the beach. The city has also temporarily closed the road to Son Tra peninsula from the afternoon of October 26.
On October 26, the People's Committee of Son Tra district issued an official dispatch prohibiting vehicles from circulating on Son Tra peninsula.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tra District assigned the police to block off flooded areas, deep flooded areas, areas with strong currents, areas at risk of landslides, etc., to prevent people from entering dangerous areas.

There are 3 checkpoints at the Le Van Luong - Hoang Sa intersection to Son Tra peninsula; the road to the Son Tra - Ngu Hanh Son inter-district Forest Protection Department and the military concrete road to Son Tra peninsula.
For accommodation establishments on the peninsula, they must register vehicle numbers and number of people along with a commitment to ensure safety for people and vehicles if they need to travel.
On the same day, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches announced the temporary suspension of swimming and water entertainment activities from this afternoon (October 26) until further notice.

Previously, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command issued an official dispatch prohibiting people and boats from leaving port to exploit and provide seafood exploitation services at sea from 5:00 p.m. on October 25 until further notice.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of storm Tra Mi, the eastern sea area of the North East Sea has strong winds of level 9, gusting to level 10, then increasing to level 11, 12 gusting to level 15, very rough seas.
This is a fast-moving, complex storm that threatens to directly affect Da Nang city and surrounding areas.
