Da Nang launches the 5th Press Award on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity

(CLO) On the afternoon of November 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city coordinated with the Internal Affairs Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee to launch the "5th Press Award for preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity, 2024-2025" in Da Nang city.

The award aims to encourage and motivate authors and groups of authors to write journalistic works on the prevention and fight against corruption, waste and negativity; contributing to enhancing the role and responsibility of Party committees at all levels, authorities, and heads of each agency and unit in the work of preventing and fighting against corruption and negativity.

Contest entries must be in Vietnamese and published and broadcast from January 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025 on local and central press agencies in the city; Websites/Electronic information portals of State agencies in the city.

Authors and groups of authors can submit up to 5 works in the following formats: print, electronic, radio, and television.

Works participating in the Award must focus on reflecting the 8 contents of Regulation No. 04/TL-BTC, dated June 19, 2024 of the Organizing Committee of the 5th National Press Award for Anti-Corruption and Negative Practices, 2024-2025.

The award aims to affirm the role of the press in propaganda work on preventing and combating corruption, negativity, waste, group interests, preventing and combating signs of degradation, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" within the Party, contributing to the work of building an increasingly clean and strong Party.

Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh said: Based on the Contest, press agencies are requested to create internal strength and enthusiasm so that reporters, journalists, and groups of authors can produce in-depth and quality works and articles. At the same time, the Jury is requested to be professional and impartial in the process of judging the Awards.

The Organizing Committee will summarize and award prizes expected in June 2025. The prize structure includes: Individual prizes: 1 Special prize, 2 A prizes, 2 B prizes, 2 C prizes, 5 Encouragement prizes and 2 Collective prizes.

Contest entries should be sent to the City Journalists Association Office (No. 46 Tran Quoc Toan, Hai Chau District, Da Nang) or the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Office (No. 12 Tran Phu, Thach Thang Ward, Da Nang).
