The project also aims to mechanize aquaculture to reach 70% by 2025 and over 90% by 2030.
The project aims to ensure productivity, quality, economic and social efficiency and protect the agricultural environment in all agricultural, forestry and fishery production areas that are mechanized; build comprehensive new rural areas, go into depth associated with rural urbanization, develop organizational forms to increase income, and improve living conditions for rural residents.
Accordingly, the Project sets the target of producing key crops at over 95% by 2025 and synchronous mechanization at over 80% by 2030; livestock and poultry production at over 85% by 2025 and synchronous mechanization at over 70% by 2030; aquaculture mechanization at 70% by 2025 and over 90% by 2030; fishing and preservation on fishing boats at 85% by 2025 and over 95% by 2030; land preparation, seeds, tree planting, care, pest control, forest fire prevention, exploitation and transportation of wood and forest products at over 40% by 2025 and over 60% by 2030.
To achieve the set objectives, the Project also provides solutions to supplement and improve mechanisms, policies, research, transfer, and application of science and technology in agricultural production; improve the quality of human resources in agriculture; promote the role and improve the effectiveness of State management in the application of science and technology in agricultural production. The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, unions and the People's Committee of Hoa Vang district to organize the implementation of the contents of the Project.
