Da Nang publicly announces list of food production and trading establishments violating regulations

According to the Da Nang City Food Safety Management Board, the Food Safety Action Month 2024 will take place from April 15 to May 15 with many important activities. The Management Board continues to promote and raise awareness and consciousness about compliance with legal regulations in food production, trading, catering services, food advertising, etc.

In which, it promotes the role and responsibility of organizations, individuals, businesses, and even consumers in monitoring and making optimal and smarter choices regarding food.

Da Nang City Food Safety Management Board inspects a business establishment

Authorities strengthen inspection, examination and supervision of food security and safety work, resolutely combat, prevent and strictly handle organizations, individuals, production and business establishments that violate regulations on food security and safety.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Hai, Head of the Food Safety Management Board of Da Nang City, said that during the inspection and examination process, the list of establishments, organizations and individuals violating food safety will be fined and made public to deter and warn consumers. This is to promptly inform the supply chains of safe, high-quality food as well as establishments violating and posing potential risks to food security and safety.

Activities in the Food Safety Action Month are widespread from city to district level with specialized and interdisciplinary teams conducting a general inspection of establishments from production and business to processing and catering services. From large food production and business establishments, traditional markets, main distribution channels to catering services on tourist-heavy routes... all are strictly inspected and managed.
