Da Nang announced the Resolution on rearranging administrative units of Hai Chau district.

Kinhtedothi - On December 30, at the Hai Chau District Party Committee Hall (Da Nang City), the Ceremony to Announce the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of ward-level administrative units in Hai Chau District took place.

This is a special event, marking an important step forward in improving the effectiveness of state management, streamlining the administrative apparatus, and moving towards the synchronous and sustainable development of the city.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 1251/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated October 24, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Plan No. 244/KH-UBND dated November 28, 2024 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the rearrangement of administrative units at commune and district levels is considered an important political task, requiring the synchronous participation of the entire political system. This event not only demonstrates the determination of the Party Committee, government and people of the City but also contributes to building Da Nang into a modern and civilized city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Cao Thi Huyen Tran, Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of Hai Chau District Party Committee, emphasized: “The arrangement of administrative units is an important step in the administrative reform roadmap, in line with the development trend of Da Nang city. I believe that, with consensus and high determination, the new administrative units will soon operate stably, promote efficiency, and excellently complete the assigned tasks”.

Announcement of Resolution on establishment of new wards

At the ceremony, leaders of the city and Hai Chau district announced the decisions to establish the Party Committees of 3 new wards, appoint the Party Executive Committee, the Party Standing Committee, the Party Secretary and Deputy Secretary for the 2020-2025 term, and appoint the Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the People's Committees of the wards.

Specifically, Hai Chau Ward was established on the basis of merging Hai Chau 1 and Hai Chau 2 Wards, including 47 Party cells with 1,150 Party members. Comrade Nguyen Quang Toan was appointed as Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Le Thi Thuan held the position of Chairwoman of the Ward People's Committee.

Phuoc Ninh Ward was established on the basis of merging Phuoc Ninh, Nam Duong and Binh Hien wards, with 54 Party cells and 1,039 Party members. Comrade Luong Thi Kieu Ngoc holds the position of Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Nguyen Phuc Bao Nam was appointed as Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.

Binh Thuan Ward was established from Binh Thuan Ward and Hoa Thuan Dong Ward, including 60 Party cells with 1,073 Party members. Comrade Nguyen Ho Hoang Nam holds the position of Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Nguyen Van Quoc holds the position of Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.

Committed to unanimously and determinedly building a new administrative unit

On behalf of the new Ward Party Executive Committee, comrade Nguyen Ho Hoang Nam, Secretary of the Binh Thuan Ward Party Committee, expressed his determination: "We will constantly strive, promote the spirit of solidarity, soon stabilize the organization, perfect the political system, create a solid foundation to excellently complete political, economic and social tasks in the area".

The ceremony ended in a solemn atmosphere, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and high determination of all cadres, party members and people of Hai Chau district. This is an important premise for building new wards to develop more and more, contributing to the successful implementation of the development goals of Da Nang city.
