In order to shorten processing time, be public, transparent, and optimize coordination and interaction processes between state agencies and press agencies, the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) requests ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to increase receiving and prioritizing the handling of requests for information, requests for work, and coordination of press agencies via electronic documents.
On January 25, 2024, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Document No. 333/BTTTT-CBC on receiving and handling requests for information from press agencies via electronic documents... In particular, the Ministry of Information and Communications requested ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to increase receiving and prioritizing the handling of requests for information, requests for work, and coordination of work from press agencies via electronic documents through the National Document Interconnection Axis, from March 1, 2024.

Assessing the implementation of this task, Deputy Director of the Press Department Mai Huong Giang said that according to statistics from the list of press agencies and results from the Ministry of Information and Communications, there are currently 121 press agencies connected to the National Document Interconnection Axis, including 85 newspapers and 36 magazines.
However, when press agencies participate in the Interconnection Axis, some difficulties and problems arise, including difficulties in organizing identification codes and electronic document management software. In particular, some local Party newspapers have their document systems located at the City or Provincial Party Committees, this is often due to the Party committees having their own document processing systems that are not connected to the National Document Interconnection Axis like administrative agencies.
Or some press agencies do not have identification codes, currently the Press Department is coordinating with units to resolve these difficulties to facilitate press agencies to participate in connecting this Interconnection Axis. This has been and is being actively implemented after the issuance of Document No. 333/BTTTT-CBC dated January 25, 2024.
Ms. Mai Huong Giang added: "On the side of ministries, branches and localities, after receiving the document from the Ministry of Information and Communications, they also actively responded to this. Many provinces have sent this document from the Ministry of Information and Communications to the Departments of Information and Communications of provinces and cities to implement, requesting guidance for units in the province and press agencies of the province to deploy".
