On October 18, member DO of K-pop boy band EXO will officially part ways with management company SM Entertainment, marking an important turning point in his career. DO's exclusive contract with SM Entertainment will end in early November.
This important decision will see D.O. enter the entertainment industry on his own terms. He will sign a new exclusive contract with a company established by himself and his longtime manager, which will manage his acting career and personal activities. Despite this change, D.O. will remain a member of EXO and participate in group activities under SM Entertainment.

According to an official statement from SM Entertainment, "D.O.'s exclusive contract with us will expire in early November. After careful discussion with D.O., it has been decided that he will continue his EXO activities with SM, but will continue his acting and individual activities through a new agency called 'SuSu Entertainment.'"
DO (real name Do Kyung Soo) debuted with EXO in 2012 as the group's main vocalist. Over the years, he has not only impressed audiences with his musical talent but also demonstrated his excellent acting talent. In 2014, he starred in the drama "It's Okay, This Is Love" as Han Gang Woo. Not stopping there, he has participated in films such as "Cart", playing the role of Tae Young, and many other drama and film projects. His most recent work is the drama "The Moon", in which he played the role of Hwang Sun-woo.
This decision of DO has received strong support from fans. With his acting career growing alongside his role as a music idol in EXO, establishing a separate management company dedicated to his acting activities is a logical move.
