On the evening of December 1, right after the opening ceremony of the cultural exchange program, connecting Vietnamese - Korean businesses and the 2023 Northern Delta international agricultural fair, a cultural and artistic exchange contest between Vietnamese and Korean students took place at Thai Binh Square with the theme of Vietnamese - Korean cultural colors.
Comrade Tran Thi Bich Hang, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the first prize performance.
Participating in the contest, students from Vietnam and Korea from the following schools: University of Foreign Languages, Hanoi National University, National Economics University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Phenikaa University, Thai Binh University, Thai Binh College of Culture and Arts, Thai Binh Medical College, Thai Binh Pedagogical College performed 14 singing and dancing performances, Cheo singing, folk dancing, modern dancing, choir... which were elaborately staged, combined with vivid sound and lighting effects, bringing the audience eye-catching performances. Among them, many performances showed the unique cultural features of Vietnam and Korea, expressing love and deep pride in their homeland and country and the desire to contribute and spread the enthusiasm of youth. On a 20-point scale, the judges evaluated each performance based on the following criteria: creative ideas and new discoveries, deep understanding of the performance's content, and the appeal and interest of the content.
The Vietnam - Korea Cultural Colors Contest was organized on a large and professional scale, creating a meaningful creative playground for students, a meeting place for the artistic spirit of Vietnam and Korea.

At the end of the contest, Ms. Tran Thi Bich Hang, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded the first prize to the performance "Thênh thang đường mới" by students of colleges and universities in Thai Binh province. Representatives of Zenith Group awarded the second prize to the performance "Wonderland - Ateez" by students of the National Economics University and the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City. The organizing committee also awarded 10 consolation prizes and 2 third prizes to outstanding performances.
