Mr. Ta Xuan Chanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Binh Dinh province - said that the dragon mascot symbol of Binh Dinh has the theme "Pride in the tradition of Father Dragon - Mother Fairy" based on the Vietnamese folk legend of Lac Long Quan and Au Co with a hundred eggs hatching a hundred children, expressing pride in the dragon-fairy race and the historical and cultural traditions of the Vietnamese people with the aspiration to become the "dragon" of the country and homeland of Binh Dinh.

The mascot cluster has a unique perspective when viewed from above like the image of a large dragon head (which can change color at night through the effects of light and steam).

The details on it are arranged in a tight layout with the image of Lac Long Quan and Au Co in the center of the front. Above is a majestic bronze-colored dragon statue as the main tone, behind are majestic interwoven mountain ranges.

The symbol of a hundred eggs hatching a hundred children is a symbolic representation of quantity, stylized in the sense that each egg has a variety of sizes and shapes. Inside are unique traditional cultural features. The province's typical cultural, tourism, and OCOP products have been and are actively contributing to the development of Binh Dinh.

The mascot display area is over 100m long, 40m wide, the highest point of the mascot cluster is nearly 9m high with the main symbol cluster, secondary symbols, and a set of letters on both sides of the entrance on the front facade.
