Voters of Phan Dien commune: Hope to be compensated for site clearance after completion of the project

This morning (December 11), Ms. Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, National Assembly delegate of Binh Thuan province, XV term, had a meeting with voters in Phan Dien commune - Bac Binh district. Also attending were representatives of a number of relevant departments, local authorities at district and commune levels and a large number of Phan Dien voters.

At the beginning of the meeting, delegates and voters reviewed a video clip about the content of the 15th National Assembly session. Afterwards, National Assembly Delegate Bo Thi Xuan Linh reported to voters on the results of the 6th session of the National Assembly.

Giving their opinions at the meeting, voters of Phan Dien commune expressed their high agreement with the program and content of the National Assembly session. At the same time, they hoped that National Assembly deputies and authorities at all levels would pay attention to the settlement of compensation for households due to the construction of the Uy Thay - Da Gia water supply canal in Bac Binh district.

According to voters, in 2018, the People's Committee of Bac Binh district organized a dialogue with households of Phan Dien commune on the content of the request for compensation for the land area expanded by 4 m to make the right bank of the canal wide enough to be 10 m wide, to spread red gravel to make a traffic road according to the project to Upgrade and expand the Uy Thay - Da Gia water supply canal invested by the province in 2008 (phase 2 investment). In 2019, there was another meeting between the People's Committee of the district and households of Phan Dien commune, agreeing to compensate for the land area due to the expansion of 4 m to construct the canal in 2008 for households of Phan Dien commune, not to compensate for trees, crops, architectural objects and compensate according to the unit price in 2013, but until now people have not received compensation...

Voters are also very happy that currently national target programs on new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction, and development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas are widely implemented in the area. Thanks to that, people enjoy many preferential policies from the state, favorable for economic development and life. However, people also hope that currently some projects on building sewers and drainage ditches to serve people's lives in the commune, will people be supported with compensation for site clearance?

Voters in Phan Dien commune also reflected on the current situation in the area, which is the environmental pollution and dust caused by burning waste at the Phan Dien landfill, affecting people's lives, and need to be resolved soon. In addition, people are currently in the season of planting agricultural crops, requesting that functional units actively open irrigation water....

Regarding some policies, voters of Phan Dien commune also recommended that the provincial National Assembly pay attention to resolving the delay in payment of support policies for ethnic minority students studying at colleges in the province. Phan Dien commune leaders recommended that National Assembly member Bo Thi Xuan Linh pay attention to proposing to the province to connect the road from Mang Dam to the inter-district road of Bac Binh - Tuy Phong about 1.5 km to promote the economy and develop the lives of local people...

After listening to the opinions and recommendations of Phan Dien commune voters, the leaders of the People's Committees at the commune and district levels and relevant departments and agencies received and answered the issues within their authority. Regarding issues within the authority of the province and the National Assembly, National Assembly Deputy Bo Thi Xuan Linh recorded the opinions of voters, compiled them and forwarded them to relevant agencies.
