(HNMO) - On the afternoon of June 16, delegates of the Hanoi People's Council, Constituency No. 26, had a meeting with voters of Quoc Oai district before the mid-year session of 2023.
At the conference, the City People's Council delegates informed voters about the content and program of the 12th session of the 16th City People's Council and the results of responding to recommendations at the previous session.
There were 8 opinions from voters of Quoc Oai district raised around people's livelihood issues, such as: Issuing land use right certificates, resolving suspended projects in the area, granting resettlement land to some households in the Hoa Lac high-tech park project, providing clean water to people in rural areas, handling environmental pollution, consuming late-ripening longan...
Among them, the issue that most voters are concerned about and are most concerned about is the suspended projects in the area. Specifically, voter Pham Van Giang in Quoc Oai town said that currently in the town there are a number of projects that have reclaimed land for many years but are not operating, causing waste of resources. Voter Pham Van Giang hopes that the City People's Council delegates will accept and give their opinions to the city to soon take measures to handle the situation.
Expressing their frustration with the suspended projects, voters of Dong Yen commune said that in the commune, there is the Thoi Dai village project of Phu My Hung Group that has been "shelved" for 15 years and has not been operational. The project covers an area of 70.84 hectares, located in the agricultural production area of the commune. In addition, this land area has been suffering from the "3 no's" for the past 15 years: no irrigation canals, no internal traffic, no land consolidation. Due to lack of production conditions, most of the land is left fallow, affecting people's lives.
At the meeting, City People's Council delegate Nguyen Truong Son, Chairman of Quoc Oai District People's Committee, directly discussed and clarified a number of issues raised by voters within their authority. For issues within the city's authority, the delegation will summarize and report to the City People's Council to direct relevant agencies to consider and resolve them according to regulations.
