BTO-On the morning of July 2, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province had a meeting after the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly with voters of Ham Tien ward and Thien Nghiep commune (Phan Thiet city).
At the meeting, voters of the two localities watched a video presentation summarizing the results of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly and the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province, which took place in Hanoi, the first session from May 20 to June 8, the second session from June 17 to 29. At the same time, delegate Nguyen Huu Thong informed voters of Ham Tien and Thien Nghiep about the responses of the Provincial People's Committee, ministries and central branches to recommendations at previous meetings with voters. These included the expansion of DT 715 road connecting to the airport; attention to investing in water systems to serve production and daily life in Thien Nghiep commune; consideration of opening more roads to the sea for people; promoting the resolution of waste and discharge issues and the policy of training and fostering high-quality human resources in the tourism industry to develop Mui Ne - Phan Thiet tourism in particular and the whole province in general...
After listening to the working contents and responses of the Provincial People's Committee, voters were very excited about the responsible working spirit of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan Province. Voters of the two localities continued to express some opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly Delegates on issues related to the current management of cadres and appointment of cadres; promptly promulgate decrees to put the 2023 Land Law into practice; consider resolving the titanium planning area to facilitate people in converting land use purposes; reclaim land for Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Huynh Thuc Khang roads, etc.
In particular, voters of Ham Tien ward are very concerned about the issue of marine waste treatment. In fact, there is a lot of waste along the coast of Ham Tien area, but there are no teams to collect marine waste like some provinces and cities, but only rely on volunteer teams, but this team cannot work continuously. In addition, Ham Tien is a bustling area, attracting a lot of tourists but there are very few public spaces on the beach. When people and tourists want to walk around and swim, they have to go up to Ong Dia rock beach. Therefore, in the planning project of Ham Tien - Mui Ne tourist area, voters want to have more public spaces and open more roads to the sea.
Through 12 opinions and recommendations from voters, local government leaders and Phan Thiet City responded at the meeting. In particular, Ham Tien Ward People's Committee said that due to lack of collection vehicles and funding, the problem of waste along the coast of Ham Tien area, although reduced compared to before, has not been completely resolved. Therefore, while waiting for investment and attention from the City and Provincial People's Committees, each citizen and business needs to join hands in collecting.
Regarding the sidewalk construction from Hoang Ngoc Resort to Lang Chai Intersection, Phan Thiet City People's Committee hopes that people will share and accompany the locality in the issue of land acquisition, and is continuing to implement to create a tourism face similar to the development...
After listening to the local reflections and responses, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province, appreciated the voters' attention and frankness, the responsibility of the government, all for the desire for the homeland to develop more and more. For recommendations beyond the authority, the National Assembly Delegation of the province recorded, received and synthesized them to send to the competent authorities for consideration and resolution.
