Cristiano Ronaldo currently has a contract with Al Nassr until early 2025. He receives the highest income in the history of world football with a value of nearly 200 million euros/year. Of which, 90 million euros/year is a guaranteed salary, along with other commercial and sponsorship contracts.
When signing a contract with Al Nassr in January 2023, The Guardian (UK) revealed: "Cristiano Ronaldo received a huge signing bonus of up to 100 million euros, after turning down the opportunity to join Kansas City Club in the MLS (USA)".
In the 2023-2024 season, Cristiano Ronaldo helped Al Nassr win the Arab Club Champions Cup. He has also scored 17 goals in 17 matches so far and leads the Saudi Pro League's top scorer list with 10 goals, 3 goals more than the second-placed Moussa Dembele of Al Ettifaq with 7 goals.
"Cristiano Ronaldo has proactively asked Al Nassr to sign a contract extension until January 2027, right before he returned to train with the Portuguese national team recently. Cristiano Ronaldo's plan is to continue playing for Al Nassr until the end of his career. During this time, the Portuguese star also has ambitions to play at the 2026 World Cup. After that, he will play for Al Nassr for the rest of his contract until 2027 and officially retire," said Mail Sport (UK), based on a source close to the Saudi Arabian press.
Saudi Arabian press reported that Cristiano Ronaldo will sign a contract extension with Al Nassr Club in early 2024. There are two parts, the current contract until January 2025 and the remaining part until January 2027, with the possibility that the Portuguese star will be rewarded by the Saudi Arabian team for remaining loyal to the club.
