Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 11,613,559 cases, ranking 13th out of 231 countries and territories, while with the rate of cases per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 120th out of 231 countries and territories (on average, there are 117,364 cases per 1 million people).

Data reported daily by the Department of Health of provinces and cities on the Covid-19 Management System of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health shows that on June 1, 202 patients were announced to be cured, bringing the total number of cured cases to 10,638,370.

42 seriously ill patients are being monitored and treated; of which, 32 people are breathing oxygen through masks; 4 cases are breathing high-flow oxygen HFNC; 4 cases are on non-invasive ventilation; 2 cases are on invasive ventilation.

The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Vietnam to date is 43,206, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of cases.

On May 31, 4,177 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were injected. Currently, a total of 266,416,100 doses of vaccine have been injected. Of these, 223,748,079 doses were injected for people aged 18 and over: 70,909,228 doses for the first dose; 68,455,912 doses for the second dose; 14,344,121 doses for the supplementary dose; 52,136,993 doses for the first booster dose; and 17,901,825 doses for the second booster dose.

Vaccination for children from 12 to 17 years old is 23,965,543 doses: 1st dose is 9,130,889 doses; 2nd dose is 9,021,366 doses; 1st booster dose is 5,813,288 doses.

Vaccination for children from 5 to 11 years old is 18,702,478 doses: 10,227,872 doses for the first dose; 8,474,606 doses for the second dose.
