On the morning of November 28, Song Chu One Member Co., Ltd. held a conference to summarize water supply work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

Attending the conference were representatives of leaders, officers and employees of departments of Song Chu Company Limited (abbreviated as Song Chu Company), affiliated branches; representatives of customer units in the field of industrial water supply, clean water production, and water supply for power generation in the province.

Mr. Tran Duc Hung, Deputy General Director of Song Chu One Member Co., Ltd. reported on the results of water supply work in 2024 and deployed tasks for 2025.

Song Chu Company is a 100% state-owned enterprise, managing, exploiting and protecting irrigation systems located in 18 districts, towns and cities in the province (including 8 mountainous districts), with the main task of providing irrigation and drainage water for over 131,000 hectares of agricultural land and drainage for rural and urban areas (except inner-city areas).

At the same time, the company supplies raw water for industrial production, clean water production plants for daily life, and water for power generation.

The Company is currently managing 75 irrigation reservoirs, more than 200 pumping stations of all kinds, water canal systems of levels I, II, III... with a total length of over 3,000km. Of which, the 3 major water supply systems are prominent: Bai Thuong irrigation system; Muc River system; Yen My system, providing stable water supply for production for customers and people.

In 2024, the output of raw water supply for industrial production, clean water production, and domestic water in the area of ​​Song Chu Company is expected to be ^45,167,000m3 ; water supply for electricity generation for customers will reach more than 25,000,000kWh. The corresponding revenue in 2024 of the above service type is expected to reach nearly 56.7 billion VND, accounting for 32.5% of the company's total revenue.

In 2024, the water source in the construction system managed by the company will always be guaranteed to serve agricultural production and use raw water for industrial production, clean water production, daily life, electricity generation as well as other types of services. Therefore, the implementation of contracts and acceptance of water supply and use for production between the Company and customers will ensure the correct time, value, and payment term as stipulated in the terms of the contract...

From now until the end of 2024 and 2025, the Company will proactively develop plans, solutions and effectively implement plans and solutions for irrigation, drainage and water supply at each project in accordance with customer needs and the Company's capabilities. Coordinate with reservoir and hydropower management units to provide water for production, making the most of the natural water source of Muc River Reservoir and other lake systems. Strengthen water quality management, prevent water pollution, continue to systematically evaluate projects to have the most reasonable and effective management and exploitation plans. Safely and effectively manage and operate the water supply system for Nghi Son Economic Zone with a capacity of ^30,000m3 /day and night.

At the same time, the company continues to coordinate with local authorities to disseminate to the people the Law on Water Resources and related policies to prevent violations and encroachment on irrigation works, especially the dumping of waste into irrigation works causing environmental pollution. Strengthen maintenance, repair, and innovation of inefficient machinery and equipment at pumping stations in the system, in conjunction with strengthening management in an industrial direction...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Khuong Ba Luan, General Director of Song Chu Company, thanked the cooperation and coordination of units, businesses and customers with the company in the past time; at the same time, he requested the branches assigned by the company to directly manage irrigation systems and customer units that are signing water use contracts with the company to continue to coordinate well, sign economic contracts on purchasing raw water to ensure compliance with legal regulations and on time; make a plan for water use according to the scale of the project and production capacity so that the company can plan to balance and regulate water sources, ensuring stable and effective production.

The year 2025 is expected to have many advantages but also many unforeseen difficulties, but with the existing experience and capacity, the Company will continue to ensure the safety of works, people, machinery, equipment; regulate water economically and effectively to ensure the production and business of partners, customers and the Company to grow.
