Tanks with danger signs

On November 24, soldiers from Binh Thanh Border Guard Station (Quang Ngai Border Guard Command) stationed in Binh Son district were patrolling the sea area through Le Thuy village, Binh Tri commune, Binh Son district and together with local people discovered three white, cylindrical metal tanks, measuring 6 x 2.5m, drifting ashore in Le Thuy village.

On the surface, these three tanks are quite new, with the name and logo of a famous container and liquid tank manufacturing company in China printed on the tank body; along with the names of companies that trade and rent these tanks.

The three tanks that washed ashore were secured to a large, sturdy steel frame for protection. Each tank had a pump valve, drain pipe, and pressure gauge attached to it.

At the time of discovery, each tank had a lead seal and a danger warning sign.

Binh Thanh Border Guard Station mobilized local people to use anchor ropes to secure these tanks to the dike, to prevent them from being washed away by large waves at sea, endangering constructions and operating ships.

On the morning of November 27, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, requested relevant units to coordinate to find a solution, avoid safety risks, and urgently find the owner, as well as the origin of the three tanks above.

According to the website, EQ Logis Company is headquartered in District 4, Ho Chi Minh City, with Mr. Kang Byung Joo as the legal representative. Its business line is providing logistics services for general goods, project goods and ISO Tank containers...
