On the afternoon of June 24, the leader of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced that it had issued a decision to administratively sanction Hoang Thanh Nha Trang Tourism Service Trading Company Limited (headquartered in Phuoc Long Ward, Nha Trang City), with Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh as director. According to the sanction decision, this company committed the following violations: The travel contract lacked one of the prescribed contents; the tour program lacked one of the prescribed contents; used international tour guides, domestic tour guides without a labor contract with a travel service business or a tour guide service provider or were not members of a social-professional organization for tour guiding as prescribed. The company also committed a violation when it failed to manage tourists according to the tour program agreed with the tourists. The total fine for these administrative violations was 51.5 million VND. Previously, on social networks, a number of clips appeared, showing many tourists waving foreign flags and singing at Ana Marina Nha Trang marina (Nguyen Co Thach street, Nha Trang city). After receiving the information, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism established a team to inspect the incident at Ana Marina Nha Trang marina. According to the inspection report, the organization of the performance event by a group of foreign tourists at the Ana Marina marina swimming pool stage from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on June 7, was contracted by Hoang Thanh Nha Trang Company to another outside unit. On June 13, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch requesting the Department of Tourism and the Department of Culture and Sports of the province to inspect and verify the incident of hundreds of foreigners holding banners, waving foreign flags and singing at Ana Marina marina. At the same time, these two departments are required to guide travel businesses providing resort services and organizing events... in the area to strictly comply with legal regulations in organizing events and performing arts using flags, national emblems, national emblems... of other countries for foreign tourists traveling in the province.
