On the morning of January 9, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company held a conference to review production and business activities in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

In 2024, facing the risk of power shortage, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company has proactively followed the direction of the Northern Power Corporation to implement solutions in power saving, load shifting, and DR load adjustment with high efficiency. During the year, the company focused on accelerating the progress of construction investment projects, handling line defects, rotating and replacing overloaded transformers, etc. In particular, the power grid system in the province was supplemented with additional sources from the 500kV circuit 3 project - The project plays a strategic role in strengthening the connection of the power transmission axis between the North and the Central regions, making an important contribution to ensuring adequate power supply for economic development, especially industrial parks, key economic zones of the province and serving people's lives.
Effectively implementing the theme "Practicing thrift and combating waste" of Vietnam Electricity Group, in 2024, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company's production and business targets all met and exceeded the assigned plan. The Company is also one of the 3 leading units of the entire Northern Electricity Corporation.
By the end of 2024, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company's total commercial electricity output will reach 7,772.9 million kWh, an increase of 9.43% over the same period in 2024, exceeding 5.2% of the plan assigned by the Corporation.
Of which, the construction industry sector reached 4,401 million kWh, up 10.91%, and the trade and service sector reached 229.45 million kWh, up 10.86% over the same period; cumulatively in 2024, the electricity loss rate was 3.91%, down 0.24% over the same period and down 0.06% compared to the assigned plan.
Regarding the collection and payment of electricity bills, by December 31, 2024, the company had collected VND 15,911.18 billion, reaching 100.01%, 0.21% higher than the assigned plan. The rate of customers paying electricity bills without using cash reached 97.7%, exceeding the plan assigned by the Corporation by 1.17%. The company's revenue from electricity services reached VND 100.25 billion, exceeding the plan assigned by the Corporation by 7.9% and increasing by 20.2% compared to 2023. During the year, the Company did not have any transformer station incidents, no occupational accidents, traffic accidents, electrical accidents among residents, or accidents by construction contractors.
