Accordingly, to ensure the management and operation, and stabilize the power supply for customers in the province during the 2024 Lunar New Year, Nghe An Power Company (PC Nghe An) has strengthened the implementation of day and night inspections, phase current measurement, replacement of damaged and scratched conductors, terminals showing signs of heat generation, as well as internal rotation of transformers operating on the grid.

Power units under PC Nghe An have developed and deployed technical plans to ensure power supply for the 2024 Lunar New Year. These include plans to ensure power supply, strengthen operational discipline, protect security, labor safety, fire prevention and fighting; coordinate with local authorities to protect security and order...
Nghe An Electricity Company has also directed its affiliated units to not cut off power on the grid from 00:00 on February 7, 2024 (ie the 28th day of Lunar New Year) to the end of February 12, 2024 (ie the 3rd day of Lunar New Year), except in cases of cutting off power to handle incidents.

At the online televised meeting to review the preparation for continuous, safe and stable power supply to serve people during the 2024 Lunar New Year, Mr. Le Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of the company concluded and assigned the following tasks:
“The affiliated Power Companies have basically prepared a good plan to ensure safe and stable power supply. Units are required to perform their tasks well, strengthen discipline in operation, protect security, labor safety, and prevent fire and explosion. Strictly implement the 24/7 power operation and repair regime. Materials, equipment, communication systems and means of transport need to be fully prepared, ready, and quickly handle any incidents that arise. At the same time, units are required to strengthen inspection, strengthen the power grid, review and handle defects on the power grid before the Lunar New Year.”

Pay special attention to units ensuring electricity supply to important locations, areas where political, cultural and artistic activities take place to celebrate the New Year... Coordinate with localities and mass media agencies to widely disseminate measures to use electricity economically, safely and effectively to electricity customers. Strengthen coordination with functional forces to prevent and strictly handle cases of shooting gold-coated confetti, flying kites and throwing objects onto power lines, violating the electrical safety corridor".
Previously, on January 17, 2024, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued an official dispatch to departments, branches, localities, and press agencies in the province to strengthen propaganda to ensure continuous power supply and electrical safety during the Lunar New Year and Spring Festival 2024.
