Following the Quang Tri Newspaper's report on the morning of August 30th about "Palm leaves obstructing visibility and posing a danger to road users," the Dong Ha Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company sent workers that same afternoon to cut and trim the palm leaves on the affected section of road.

Accordingly, this afternoon, August 30th, Le Van Phuc, Director of Dong Ha Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company, stated that immediately after receiving the media report, the company dispatched workers to cut and trim the palm branches and leaves planted on the median strip from the intersection of Ly Thuong Kiet Street – National Highway 1 – Pham Hong Thai Street (also known as the plaster intersection) to the north of Lai Phuoc Bridge (in Dong Luong Ward, Dong Ha City).

Later that afternoon, according to a reporter from Quang Tri Newspaper, after workers from Dong Ha Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company trimmed the overgrown palm branches extending over the edge of National Highway 1, traffic flow was improved, ensuring greater safety for people and vehicles.
