Recognition of 10 typical rural industrial products

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision to recognize and grant Certificates of typical rural industrial products at the provincial level in 2023 to 10 products.

The tea growing area of ​​Binh Son Agricultural and Forestry Service Cooperative (Trieu Son) is the raw material area of ​​many OCOP products and 2 newly recognized rural industrial products.

Accordingly, 10 recognized products include: Wall-hanging sedge products of Tan Tho Handicraft Cooperative (Nong Cong); Quang Phuc sedge mats of Quang Phuc Agricultural Production, Trading and Service Cooperative (Quang Xuong); dried cordyceps of Le Truong Truong Business Household (Hoang Hoa); Binh Son green tea bags and Binh Son Solanum procumbens tea bags of Binh Son Agricultural and Forestry Service Cooperative (Trieu Son); dried cordyceps in filamentous form, cordyceps extract, cordyceps honey of Sukha Vietnam Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Hau Loc); Tac Huy special shrimp paste and Tac Huy premium fish sauce of Dong Thi Huy Business Household (Nghi Son town); lemongrass essential oil of Minh Hong Essential Oil Production and Trading Co., Ltd. and Antimos mosquito repellent spray of Minh Hong Essential Oil Production and Trading Co., Ltd. (Thach Thanh).

Lemongrass essential oil products of Minh Hong Essential Oil Production and Trading Company Limited (Thach Thanh) have just been recognized as a typical rural industrial product at the provincial level in 2023.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to develop stamps, labels, and logos for products that have been recognized as typical rural industrial products at the provincial level in 2023; implement procedures for registering products to participate in the voting for typical rural industrial products at the regional level; preside over and coordinate with relevant units to propose and develop programs and solutions to support the development of recognized products; develop a monitoring mechanism to protect the compliance with legal regulations of rural industrial establishments whose products are granted certificates.
