Speaking at the Forum, Korean Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Ahn Dukgeun stated that the relationship between the two countries has become closer than ever. Korea can share its experience in operating nuclear power plants, which is necessary for Vietnam's energy development. He expressed his impression and reiterated the spirit of listening and understanding together; sharing vision, awareness and action together; working together, enjoying together, winning together and developing together that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared with the Korean side. At the Forum, Korean and Vietnamese enterprises expressed their opinions on the issue that the business communities of the two countries need to promote economic, trade and investment cooperation, especially large-scale investment projects in key areas; closely coordinate, promote all available potentials and advantages, and strengthen the global supply chain and production chain.

The Prime Minister stated that the relationship between the two countries is developing very strongly, never as good as it is now; relations in areas such as culture and people-to-people exchange are developing strongly, there are about 300,000 Vietnamese people living, working and studying in the Republic of Korea, about 200,000 Koreans living and working in Vietnam. Sharing some views and orientations in socio-economic development in Vietnam at the Forum, the Prime Minister emphasized that Korean enterprises coming to Vietnam to do business are always guaranteed political stability, safety, creating a favorable, equal, healthy and fair investment and business environment with partners. The Prime Minister stated that the current world and regional situation has many difficulties and challenges, the problem is that we must clearly perceive and have solutions to resolve them. With a focus on expanding investment, diversifying supply chains, production chains, and cooperation to open up new development horizons and new cooperation, the two sides need to transfer technology, especially advanced modern technology, support Vietnam to participate in the global supply chain, smart governance, and national governance; Enterprises invest in emerging and important fields such as digital economy, green economy, circular economy, knowledge economy, sharing economy because there is a lot of room for cooperation, emerging industries such as semiconductor chips, artificial intelligence, hydrogen, cultural industry, entertainment.

Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his hope that South Korea would create favorable conditions and expand the market for Vietnamese products to penetrate the South Korean market; hoped that South Korea would support the development of basic industries so that Vietnam could quickly achieve its goal of industrialization and modernization; and hoped that South Korea would strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in the fields of renewable energy and new energy such as hydrogen. South Korean Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Ahn Dukgeun said that he had just had a short meeting with the Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade, in which the two sides mentioned cooperation in new energy, infrastructure, railways, etc. In Southeast Asia, South Korea is the largest investor in Vietnam, which is the most important market in the region. He hoped that the Vietnamese and South Korean governments would support businesses of the two countries to develop strongly.
