The delegation and doctors organized health check-ups, consultations, and gifts for officers, soldiers, and relatives of soldiers working in Naval Region 4; watched a documentary about the Vietnam People's Navy and the fighting and growth process of Naval Region 4; visited some locations in the base, and interacted with officers and soldiers of the Gepard ship, Brigade 162.
Leaders of the two units exchanged and discussed the contents of the signed Joint Program of Activities, such as: information and propaganda work on the situation of the sea and islands; coordination in organizing sightseeing, research, practical learning activities, and specialized health examination activities for officers, soldiers and their relatives working in Naval Region 4.
Ms. Pham Thanh Binh, President of the Vietnam Health Trade Union, Head of the working delegation, said that on this occasion, the Vietnam Health Trade Union coordinated with Hanoi Obstetrics Hospital, National Children's Hospital, and Medlatec Group to implement a medical examination and treatment program for officers, soldiers and relatives of soldiers in Naval Region 4, contributing to the good implementation of the military rear policy and showing gratitude to the families of Navy soldiers.

During 4 days, from August 20 to August 23, the medical examination and treatment program for officers, soldiers and their relatives of Naval Region 4 took place at Cam Ranh base, Khanh Hoa province. Of which, 8 doctors from the National Children's Hospital examined, distributed medicine and gifts to the children of officers and soldiers; 27 doctors from the Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital examined and distributed medicine to more than 250 officers, soldiers and their relatives of Naval Region 4, donated books and medical equipment to Truong Sa Library and Military Medical Station 486. The medical team of Medlatec Group organized the collection of samples for testing for 800 people.
In addition to gynecological, andrological and pediatric health check-ups for nearly 800 relatives of Navy officers and soldiers, the delegation also gave practical and meaningful gifts: medical equipment, medicine, milk and cash to officers, soldiers and relatives, organized training and guidance to improve the effectiveness of medical examination and treatment for the 486th treatment team of Navy Region 4. The total value of cash and gifts presented by the delegation was 1.56 billion VND.
