Specifically, according to the organizational structure of the specialized agencies under the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and based on the decision on personnel organization for newly established departments and reorganization when streamlining the apparatus, the Department of Education and Training takes over the state management of vocational education from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Accordingly, Ms. Huynh Le Nhu Trang, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, was appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training and officially took office this morning. The areas of responsibility will be assigned by the Director of the Department of Education and Training.

Also this morning, the Department of Education and Training announced the decision on the organizational structure of the Department of Education and Training after receiving the state management of vocational education from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and implementing a streamlined apparatus.

Starting from March 1, according to the decision of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Department of Education and Training has 10 departments:

3. Department of Organization and Personnel
4. Financial Planning Department
5. Department of Political and Ideological Affairs
6. Testing and Quality Control Department
7. Kindergarten Room
8. Department of General Education (merging the structure from the Department of Primary Education and the Department of Secondary Education)
9. Department of Continuing Education - Vocational and University
10. Department of Management of Non-Public Educational Institutions

Based on the above decision, the Department of Education and Training announces the decision on appointment and assignment of work:

• Ms. Lam Hong Lam Thuy, Head of Primary Education Department, holds the position of Head of General Education Department.
