Previously, on the evening of December 25, detectives raided a house in lane 77, Le Do street, catching Truong's group in the act of illegally buying, selling, and storing drugs.
When surrounded by police, Truong stubbornly opened fire and used a knife to fight back before jumping to the next house to escape. The suspect then fell and became stuck in a gap between two walls of the house.
The authorities had to break down the wall of the house next door to get the subject out.
At the scene, police seized evidence including ecstasy, ketamine, synthetic drugs labeled "Chaly Green tea" and several packages of "happy water" drugs, a revolver, a homemade knife and pepper spray.

At the time of the arrest, Thanh Khe District Police also discovered 4 other subjects organizing illegal drug use.
At the police station, Truong admitted to buying drugs to sell to addicts at several locations in Da Nang for profit. To avoid being arrested by the police, Truong installed a camera system around his house, and if he saw the police, he would find a way to escape.
The police are continuing to expand the case and clarify the subjects involved.
