Kim Jong-un's daughter attends many important events in North Korea

Kim Ju-ae, daughter of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, has recently appeared many times at public events, accompanying her father to supervise military exercises or inspect defense and economic facilities.

She first appeared in 2022, accompanying her father at an intercontinental ballistic missile launch, although observers have long called Ju-ae "North Korea's princess".

South Korean intelligence agencies believe she is Kim's daughter with his wife Ri Sil-ju after they married in 2009. According to AFP, she was once thought to be Kim's second child, but South Korea later "could not be sure" whether she also had an older brother as previously suspected.

Yonhap News Agency on July 29 quoted information from the South Korean intelligence agency that Ju-ae is being trained to become the next leader of North Korea. However, North Korean state media often reports on the leader's daughter's public activities but does not mention her political future.

Previously on February 8, the girl accompanied her father to visit the North Korean Ministry of Defense in Pyongyang on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the army.

On January 7, the girl and her father inspected the Gwangcheon Poultry Factory in North Hwanghae Province.

On December 31, 2023, the North Korean leader appeared with his wife and daughter while watching the New Year's performance in Pyongyang.

Earlier on November 30, little Ju-ae and her father watched an air show at an undisclosed location.

Mr. Kim and his daughter attended a party in Pyongyang on November 23, 2023 to celebrate North Korea's spy satellite launch.
