Dong Thap Muoi Nature Reserve (Thanh Tan Commune, Tan Phuoc District, Tien Giang Province) is known not only for its diverse ecosystem, but also for the conservation of many rich and rare species of flora and fauna.

Currently, the Reserve has a herd of wild animals estimated at about 10,000, including birds, fish, animals... On average, each year, there are about 1,000 more birds and animals breeding here and being attracted from other places, the most common are storks, storks, herons, and cuckoos... The Reserve has been recreated as a primeval forest, with a large area and is considered the most beautiful in the Dong Thap Muoi region.

Dong Thap Muoi Nature Reserve has also successfully bred and hatched many animal species in captivity: golden mountain turtles, mangroves, porcupines, wild boars, and crocodiles.

From a purely Conservation Area, Dong Thap Muoi has become an extremely unique tourist area due to the strict protection of the Forest Management Board and investors. The flora and fauna ecosystem is conserved for biodiversity as a product of scientific research, environmental education, community livelihood development, contributing to rapid, green, and sustainable economic development.

For nearly a year, Dong Thap Muoi Ecological Reserve has been leased 10,765 m2 of forest by Dong Thap Tourism Joint Stock Company (Dong Thap Tourist), a member of Sao Mai Group, for tourism purposes. With careful investment and conservation responsibility, this place has become a unique Dong Thap Muoi Ecological Reserve. A new vitality is emerging here, thriving, no longer desolate and quiet.
