Opportunity to promote Vietnamese wood brand at High Point Market Exhibition 2024

Implementing the National Program on Trade Promotion in 2024 approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Department of Trade Promotion, Ministry of Industry and Trade will organize a delegation of Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the High Point Market 2024 Interior and Exterior Furniture Exhibition.

High Point Market Exhibition is the largest and most prestigious fair in the international furniture and interior and exterior decoration industry, held twice a year.

The fair has an exhibition area of ​​up to 1,000,000 ^m2 spread across 180 buildings in Highpoint city, North Carolina, USA with more than 2,000 exhibitors, attracting nearly 75,000 visitors from more than 100 countries and territories to visit and work.

High Point Market Exhibition is the largest and most prestigious fair in the international furniture and interior and exterior decoration industry, held twice a year.

The program aims to promote the image of the country, businesses and Vietnamese brands; increase the export of Vietnamese wooden furniture and interior decoration products with competitive strengths and development potential in the US market; and promote the consumption network of wooden products in this market.

According to Ms. Duong Thi Minh Tue, Vice President of the Handicraft and Wood Processing Association of Ho Chi Minh City (Hawa), “Participating in the annual Wood Fair in the US market with financial support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade through the National Trade Promotion Program is an important activity in maintaining the presence of strong enterprises in the wood and furniture industry of Vietnam.

This annual presence helps maintain connections with existing customers, while opening up opportunities with new customers who have never purchased in Vietnam, contributing to promoting growth and maintaining the position of furniture products exports in Vietnam's most important wood export market, the United States.

Expected scale: 15-20 participating businesses with a total exhibition area at the Vietnam booth from 300 - 460 ^m2 . Time: From October 26 to 30, 2024 in High Point city, North Carolina, USA.

The product line is wooden products, handicrafts and interior and exterior decoration originating from Vietnam.

Participants: Enterprises of all economic sectors established under the provisions of Vietnamese law.

Criteria for selecting businesses: Businesses with the capacity to produce and trade in wood products, handicrafts and interior and exterior furniture with competitiveness, export capacity, products with designs, international certifications and quality suitable for the US market, and personnel participating in the delegation with sufficient professional capacity to participate in international fairs.

State funding to support businesses participating in the program: 100% of booth costs; 100% of overall decoration costs for Vietnam's booth at the fair; 100% of general propaganda and promotion costs for Vietnam's booth.

Expenses that businesses pay for themselves when participating in the fair: 100% of entry and exit expenses, food, accommodation, and travel. 100% of expenses related to goods such as: Taxes and fees on goods when participating in the fair, transportation costs. 100% of the business's advertising and promotion costs and other costs of the business. 100% of the cost of setting up a special booth of the business.

The product line is wooden products, handicrafts and interior and exterior decoration originating from Vietnam.

Enterprises participating in the fair must deposit 30,000,000 VND/enterprise immediately upon submitting registration documents.

The organizer will refund the deposit to the businesses after the fair ends and the businesses have fully fulfilled their obligations to participate in the program with the Organizing Committee.

In case the selected enterprises cancel their participation in the Fair after July 5, 2024 for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded.

This cost will be used by the Organizing Committee to offset the costs the State has incurred to support businesses in renting premises, setting up booths, general decoration and promotion.

Registration deadline is June 28.
