Regarding the mechanism and policy for electricity trading, urgently complete and submit to competent authorities for promulgation before April 30; have a mechanism and policy for direct electricity trading between power generation units and large electricity users; a mechanism to encourage the development of rooftop solar power installed in private homes, offices, and self-produced and self-consumed industrial parks; a mechanism and policy for the development of gas and offshore and coastal wind power.
Regarding the progress of power source projects, the Ministry of Industry and Trade needs to quickly implement power source projects. Regarding the progress of power transmission projects, urgently coordinate closely with the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises to direct EVN to accelerate the progress of implementing the 500 kV line 3 circuit projects from Quang Trach to Pho Noi to put into use before June 30; power transmission projects from Laos to promptly ensure power supply to the North.
The Prime Minister also directed the Chairman and General Director of EVN to focus on and quickly implement the 500 kV circuit 3 transmission line projects from Quang Trach to Pho Noi. Strive to complete transmission projects to serve electricity import from Laos in May, such as Dak Ooc switching station, Nam Sum - Nong Cong 200 kV transmission line... Ensure maximum mobilization of power generation capacity during peak months of 2024, absolutely not allowing fuel shortages (coal, gas, oil) for thermal power plants and water shortages in hydroelectric reservoirs...
