Specifically, nationwide, the average fixed broadband download speed in April 2024 was recorded at 106.43 Mbps, the average fixed broadband upload speed reached 103.28 Mbps. Regarding mobile broadband Internet quality, in April 2024, Vietnam's average download speed was recorded at 41.58 Mbps, the average upload speed was 18.28 Mbps. This is the first time the Ministry of Information and Communications has announced the service quality of each enterprise. Accordingly, in April 2024, CMC Telecom was the telecommunications enterprise with the highest fixed broadband speed. CMC Telecom's average fixed broadband download and upload speeds were 254.88 Mbps and 176.97 Mbps, respectively. Ranked right after CMC Telecom in terms of fixed broadband quality is VNPT with average download and upload speeds of 99.45 Mbps and 100.62 Mbps respectively. Next is FPT Telecom with download speeds of 96.88 Mbps and upload speeds of 95.87 Mbps. The following positions belong to Viettel, Netnam, SCTV and SPT respectively. VNPT is the network operator with the best mobile broadband Internet quality in April 2024. Statistics show that VNPT's download speed is 44.88 Mbps, and its upload speed is 20.66 Mbps. Meanwhile, Viettel ranked 2nd in mobile Internet with a download speed of 43.9 Mbps and an upload speed of 14.82 Mbps. MobiFone ranked 3rd with a download speed of 30.99 Mbps and an upload speed of 18.66 Mbps. Ranked 4th was Vietnamobile with a download speed of 7.15 Mbps and an upload speed of 3 Mbps. According to the Department of Telecommunications, the announcement of data on Internet access service speeds aims to enhance transparency and public interest in service provision. The announcement results also create conditions for people/organizations/enterprises to choose services and networks according to their needs and actual conditions. This activity also improves management efficiency based on actual data, contributing to promoting the development and improving the quality of Internet access services in Vietnam. The Telecommunications Department recommends that people/organizations/businesses regularly use the i-Speed ​​application to measure Internet access speed. Using the i-Speed ​​measurement application is completely free, with no data charges.
