Nam Dinh Club terminates contract with foreign player who has not scored in 5 years

On the afternoon of November 9, Nam Dinh Club confirmed the termination of the contract with striker Moses Odo - who was registered to play in the 2024/2025 C2 Asian Cup. This player caused controversy when he just signed a contract with the V.League champion team. On some transfer information sites, Moses Odo was recorded as being born in 1993, but according to the documents sent to Nam Dinh, he was born in 1997.

Moses Odo did not play any matches in the V.League and had the opportunity to play in 3 matches in the Asian Cup 1. Overall, this player caused a lot of disappointment due to his poor performance. He handled the ball awkwardly and had poor finishing. Although there are still many matches in the Asian Cup, coach Vu Hong Viet still decided to sell this player.

Nam Dinh is temporarily ranked 6th on the V.League table but is only 1 point behind the leading team, Hanoi Police.
