For example, in the field of international peacekeeping , Vietnam has sent peacekeeping personnel to many hotspots around the world, including South Sudan. Vietnam has also made many contributions as a member of the UN Human Rights Council for the 2023-2026 term, a member of the International Law Commission for the 2023-2027 term, and a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council... These successes demonstrate Vietnam's strong commitment to the fundamental principles and values in the UN Charter, international law, and multilateralism in general. He noted that many countries in the Southern Hemisphere are currently lagging behind in their efforts to achieve sustainable development goals. He believes that Vietnam, with its "bamboo diplomacy" approach, has many practical experiences it can share with countries in the Southern Hemisphere, both in terms of development and peacekeeping.
Strengthening and enhancing UN-Vietnam relations.
