In addition to the talks and co-chairing of the Third Session of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee with the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia and the Chairman of the Federation Council, Comrade Tran Thanh Man and the leaders of the Russian Federation signed a new Cooperation Agreement between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the Federation Council, along with a Plan with very specific coordinated actions. On this occasion, speaking to reporters, Mr. Ivan Melnikov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of Russia, emphasized: The relationship between our two countries is in the development stage. The great driving force for this is the visit of Russian President Putin to Vietnam in June this year, with 15 important documents signed in many different areas of cooperation.
