The event is organized by the Hanoi Exhibition Information Center. This is one of the meaningful activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
The program “Hanoi Days in Dien Bien Province” is organized with cultural and artistic activities, exhibitions, displays introducing rich, diverse and unique craft village products of the capital Hanoi.
The exhibition displays and introduces to the people of Dien Bien 70 photos, documents, and typical images of Hanoi Capital about foreign affairs activities, cultural exchange between Hanoi and Dien Bien, the army and people of the Capital during the resistance war against France (period 1945 - 1954).
The exhibition is divided into two parts. Part one: Hanoi - Dien Bien, 70 years of a journey. In this part, viewers will enjoy many photo works on the following themes: Hanoi, the origin of the revolutionary movement (introducing historical documentary images of the capital's army and people fighting for power and resisting the French colonialists from 1930 to 1954); from Dien Bien to Hanoi (introducing historical documentary images of the Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954 and the Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu Victory in the Air in 1972); Hanoi - Dien Bien with deep affection (introducing images of exchange and cooperation activities between Hanoi city and Dien Bien province).
Part 2: Hanoi - The city I love. In this part, the exhibition is displayed according to 2 themes: Hanoi with a thousand years of culture (introducing images of relics, famous landscapes, traditional folk festivals and traditional craft villages of the capital); Hanoi innovation and development (introducing images of economic development, new and modern works of the capital as well as cultural and social development, improving the quality of life of the capital's people).
The program “Promoting agricultural products, traditional craft villages and typical OCOP products of the Capital” aims to strengthen the cooperative relationship between Hanoi and Dien Bien in promoting and exploiting the potential and advantages of culture, cultural heritage, tourism, economy, services, trade, etc. At the same time, it is an opportunity to promote, exhibit and introduce OCOP products, agricultural products, typical traditional craft village products, unique cultural features, tourist destinations of Hanoi to domestic and international visitors, contributing to preserving the cultural and historical values of the Capital.
The expected scale of the program is about 3,000 m2, including performance spaces for artisans and traditional craft villages; promotion, experience, and performance of traditional handicraft and fine art villages in Hanoi; introduction and promotion of culture, tourism, OCOP products, agricultural products, typical traditional craft village products of the capital; display and introduction of 70 typical products of traditional craft villages through the periods (according to historical stories, timeline); promotion of Hanoi tourism: promotion and introduction of relics and tourist destinations in Hanoi; performance of traditional culture and art in Hanoi; staging models and miniatures of Hanoi culture and tourism...
