On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the capital city, this exhibition is an opportunity for the public to admire and better appreciate the beauty, strong development, and unique cultural identity of Hanoi.

For 19 years, "Hanoi in My Heart" has consistently featured a new theme each year, linked to significant national events. In 2017, the vibrant sounds of Hanoi were vividly portrayed through "The Rhythm of the Capital," while in 2022, viewers were able to admire a dazzling Hanoi through "The Colors of Capital Culture."

In 2024, with the theme "Hanoi Rises and Breaks Through," the exhibition will showcase 80 vibrant works of art, possessing valuable documentary value, recording important historical moments and outstanding achievements of the capital city over the 70 years since its liberation. Through these exhibits, the public will have the opportunity to deeply appreciate a Hanoi that is courageous, elegant, constantly developing and integrating, while still maintaining its unique cultural identity.

On the eve of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), residents and visitors in Hanoi are living in an atmosphere of pride, celebrating the city's liberation with vibrant flags and flowers. These photographs act like time machines, taking us back to relive the heroic moments of the past and serving as evidence of the nation's development through different periods. This is also an opportunity to reflect on history, remembering the sacrifices and contributions of countless generations for the independence and freedom of the country.

After admiring the works at the exhibition, Mr. Vu Hoang Viet expressed: “Seventy years have brought so many changes, but these photos have helped viewers visualize Hanoi in its golden age, so vibrant. Moreover, the exhibition has contributed to introducing Vietnam to the international community as a resilient, indomitable, developing, and creative country.”
