Within the framework of the 2024 National Vocational Education Teachers' Conference held from November 4 to 10 in Ha Long City, the cultural exchange program "Three-region singing" between the delegations showed that teachers are not only devoted to the career of "growing people" but are also very talented when standing on stage...

The teachers who came to the exchange program "Singing of three regions" organized by the General Department of Vocational Education, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in Quang Ninh, were mostly non-professional artists but full of enthusiasm and talent. Along with teaching activities, the teachers also brought their songs and voices back to Quang Ninh to connect and share with each other.
At the exchange, 36 teachers from 9 provinces and cities representing vocational education teachers from the North, Central and South regions registered to perform.

Looking at the repertoire, one can clearly see the nature of a three-region exchange program. There are songs about Quang Ninh, such as: "Quang Ninh on a new day", "Tho lo duong mo" (performed by the collective of teachers from the Vietnam Coal and Minerals College), "Ha Long, the sea of memories" (performed by Pham Kim Thoa, a lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts, a native of Dam Ha, and a chorus and dance group).
In addition, there are also songs about the Northwest, such as: "Ho keo phao", "Duong len tien tien", "Chien thang Dien Bien" by the delegation of teachers from Hai Duong Vocational College, or "Tieng goi song da" by Tay Bac Vocational College. Meanwhile, the delegation of teachers from Binh Phuoc sang about the Central region with the song "Lo rendezvous with dong Lam" (soloist Nguyen Tien Anh, lecturer at Binh Phuoc College). The delegation of Nghe An brought the song "Que huong em la nui Hong, song Lam" (soloist Nguyen Thi Cao Hiep, lecturer at Nghe An College of Culture and Arts). The delegation of teachers from Tuyen Quang sang about the sea and islands with the song "Noi dao xa" (soloist Tran Trung Kien, Tuyen Quang College of Engineering and Technology).
There were teachers who sang about their own career of educating people, such as: Duet Vu Pham Lan Anh and Tran Thi Lan, from the Eastern College, performed the song "Love the teaching profession". Teacher Do Duy Khanh and Ms. Nguyen Hai Yen from the College of Industry and Construction, representing the Quang Ninh delegation, sang the song "Let's reach higher". Teacher Dang Vo Minh Nhan, from Vinh Long College, performed the song "My joy".

This is the first time that within the framework of a national vocational education teachers' conference, there has been such a joyful, warm and emotional sideline activity. And on the music stage, new friends appeared, duets showing the cultural exchange between the three regions as the name of the program suggests. Among them, teacher Doan Thanh Hai, from the Northwest College of Culture and Arts and teacher Pham Thi Kim Thoa from the Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts, paired up to perform the song "Spring Love Song". Notably, right after the Quang Ninh delegation ended the exchange program with the song "Hanoi - Hue - Saigon" by teacher Ha Thu, Quang Ninh Medical College, the teachers, delegates and the audience still seemed not to want to end when they continued to go on stage to sing the song "Joining Hands Together".
The cultural exchange program "Singing of 3 regions" brought melodies, vibrant and colorful art performances. The teachers with their enthusiasm brought the audience moments of relaxation and comfort, full of emotions, a joyful atmosphere, a spirit of solidarity between provinces and cities across the country.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Huong, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Vocational Education, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, said that the success of the exchange program shows that each teacher is not only a model of strict ethics in the classroom, silently contributing and imparting knowledge and skills to students, but also a person with an artistic soul. The good things in the soul and heart of a teacher will resonate more so that we can move towards the future of vocational education in particular and education in general. There, each teacher has the role of guiding and orienting future generations, starting from their own heart to transmit enthusiasm and energy to the younger generation. I am very happy, moved and delighted to listen to the teachers sing.
The cultural exchange program "Singing of 3 regions" is a testament to the enthusiasm, creativity and love for the profession of teachers. Through the rich and diverse performances, we not only see the artistic talent but also feel the spirit of solidarity, love and responsibility of teachers. "'I believe that, through activities like this, the solidarity between teachers and educational institutions will become increasingly stronger. Together we will build an advanced and modern vocational education environment, worthy of the cultural traditions and development potential of the country'' - Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Huong shared more.
